Songs From A Drunken Piano: Tom Waits Revue
In 2011 Ottawa singer Christine Fagan approached me with a suggestion that we put together a revue of the music of Tom Waits. As another of the worlds billions of Tom Waits fans I immediately said yes and we started forming the band. After adding Ottawa singer Missy Burgess we developed a revue of Tom’s songs done in different arrangements and styles from Tom’s original treatments. With arrangements by Kurt Walther, three other fantastic multi-instrumentalists (and a staggering number of instruments) we debuted the act at The National Arts Centre on October 10 2012.
